President and Chief Executive Officer of Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, consisting of Wentworth-Douglass Physician Corporation, Wentworth-Douglass Community Health Corporation, and the Wentworth-Douglass Foundation. Since 1997, he has overseen the growth and development of hospital services, including expansion of medical and surgical specialties to keep care local. Wentworth-Douglass Physician Corporation is a multi-specialty physician group practices in the state with over 100 providers serving Dover and surrounding communities.

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is a founding member of Granite Health, Tufts Health Freedom Plan, co-owner of Wentworth Home Care and Hospice, and majority owner in Wentworth Surgery Center.

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is a co-owner of Strafford Health Alliance, a joint venture that includes the Women's Life Imaging Center and Rehab 3 at Marsh Brook.

Mr. Walker is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of New England Life Care, VHA New England, and the Foundation for Healthy Communities, he is Chairman of the Board for the New Hampshire Hospital Association and Granite Health, and completed a term on the Joint Commission’s Task Force on Transforming Healthcare. He has served as past chairman of the local American Cancer Society, Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce, and Foundation for Healthy Communities. In 2005 he was awarded the New Hampshire Hospital Association’s President’s Award.


Tony James
Senior Vice President of Network Development & Integration
Mass General Hospital

Tony James is senior vice president of Network Development and Integration at the Massachusetts General Hospital.   He joined MGH in 2006 initially as the director and then vice president of Network Development.  Prior to joining Mass General, he was vice president of Product Strategy at Fidelity Investments.  Additional experience includes consulting and leadership roles at ZEFER, Waite & Company, and APM-CSC and Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield.  He completed a master’s in Public Administration, Health Policy, Science and Technology Policy at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and is a graduate of Stanford University.  He is a member of the boards of:  Cooley Dickinson Healthcare Corporation, Martha’s Vineyard Hospital, and Neighborhood Health Plan.  In addition, Mr. James is a member of the Boston Arts Academy Board, a pilot public arts high school.
